General Use Masking Tape 203 is a self-adhesive tape designed with a natural rubber adhesive and a crepe paper backing. This design allows for instant and reliable bonding, making it an excellent solution for most general-purpose and entry-level painting applications.

3M™ General Use Masking Tape 203 is engineered to provide instant adhesion on a variety of surfaces. Its moderate adhesion provides adequate tear resistance and helps counter lifting or curling. Additionally, it is flexible and maintains its integrity and seal when applied in corners and on uneven surfaces. The crepe paper backing resists splitting and peels easily from the roll. With good paint holdout and resistance to bleed-through, this masking tape is ideal for numerous applications. It cleanly removes from most substrates up to 24 hours after application and offers resistance to temperatures up to 93°C (200°F).
